A winning ticket for the Monday, April 8 drawing was sold at the Exxon at 1500 Northwest Crain Highway in Bowie and remains unclaimed. The player won the first progressive jackpot, which totals $19,774.
Lottery officials say that players should check their tickets, and the winner should sign the back of it immediately and put it in a safe spot until it can be redeemed at Lottery Headquarters in Baltimore.
The $2 7-11-21 game went on sale on April 1 and has a progressive jackpot that starts at $1,500, growing with the sale of each ticket until someone buys a jackpot-winning ticket. The game has 11 progressive jackpot prizes remaining.
